If you happened to be at the PIE section near CJC at 7:40am, you would have seen what i have seen... absolute grandeur... i wanted to take photos / record videos... but... decided against it cos my camera was really CMI... but it was super nice... what am i talking about? George W Bush... and his visit to Singapore...

The side of PIE headed towards Paya Lebar / Eunos was totally stopped. Buses were parked at the side, each with a traffic police bike beside it. No cars were allow to move (remember, it's the Pan Island EXPRESSWAY)... It was like that for around 5 minutes... then 1 traffic police bike went by, slowly; then another, slightly faster; then another, even faster... then lots of them flooded the PIE... dark blue vans with red and blue lights flashing just dashed by then the two limosines with the United States of America flag came... behind those two limosines, at least 30 (if not 50) other cars / trucks / etc went by... and on a few of them, there are actually US Marines (if i'm not wrong, or some military guys dressed in dark blue with sunglasses - yeah, just like the movies).. DAMN COOL... it was just like Chingay Parade, or rather, Military Parade... of the high profile envoys... lol...

but nonetheless, it was really nice to watch and really encouraging... heez... my last day of A level exams then got such nice "scenary"... once in a lifetime... at that point, i tink i was less than 20 metres from the President of the United States... lol... the guy whom i want to meet (as stated in my friendster profile)... lol...
