She swung her legs, and bent her ever-so-graceful body, letting it curl her first downwards towards the depths and finally back up towards the surface of the water; forming a lavish parabola, a U-shaped dance. There, she let herself sink downwards, carried by the weakest force in the universe - gravity; and with strong electrostatic forces exerted by her feet she counteracted the weak gravity as she tapped on the bottom, and her body bounced back up. As a dolphin rejoices with a ball, she rejoices with the people surrounding her - swimming loops and loops and more loops around and getting closer to the people moving by. She is a mermaid; a beautiful one. And the mermaid performs for those who stayed back to watch.
She is a girl I watched, during morning swim today. Which is part of the reason why I stayed back a little later this morning, just to enjoy the gift of mother nature. She did not seem to mind us watching her a little bit; in fact, she spiraled towards me on one occasion, but i swam away. What a waste; no, it isn't.
Morning swim is starting to get interesting... i think... with that few people around, and no sun to harass, one can easily let ourselves loose and let the water carry our worn-out soul away... and it's good especially for me too... because it is the only sport in which the excessive lipids in my body actually benefits me and not slow me down... it is the only sport that lets me feel weightless and free... and it's only 40 cents...
