went to church 2dae... and had the holy communion... was a pleasant surprise actually, because we usually have it on the 2nd week of every month and this time we're having it on the last week of the month... quite cool because i missed the previous one because of guard duty... gRRR... haha...

well... i can just say that i miss church and the fellowship with my fellow brothers and sisters there... and two of them just returned from tekong for their first time... and as i heard their accounts of tekong life, i believe that i am the most blessed of all... first 2 weeks and they already got "tekan-ed" by their sergeants... for me, i'm over 50% done and i don't think that there was any serious "tekan-ing" session yet... not that i want to la... but it's a blessing that i haven't got any yet... and i hope it'll stay that way forever... or as alyson said, maybe i'm just too optimistic bahz... indeed, so far, i haven't complained to anybody about BMT... Einstein's right... everything is relative... relative to Boys' Brigade training (especially the BB recruits' camp), BMT is peanuts... so far... hehe... i hope the SIT test doesn't change that status quo...

February is nearing... Feb 11 would be my important day, Feb 12 would be my BMT Buddy's important day, Feb 14 would be another important day... then would be Feb 18... Chinese New Year... and somehow, there's a bit of a stress hanging on that 14th Feb date... i wonder... argh!!! i need divine intervention manz... or divine assistance... whatever you call it la...

ah... and i'm booking back into tekong soon... 1820hrs to be at pasir ris interchange... and activities this week would include route march, live grenade throwing, and the dreaded SIT Test... actually i don't know... deep in my heart i want to be an officer.. but i know it's sorta out of reach because of my gargantuan size and degenerate physical fitness... i really need to be very outstanding in order to get that position in OCS... and i know i am not very outstanding when it comes to the army... at least not in the limelight of "Recruit Ong", "Soap-boy", "Guramrit Singh", etc... so far, there's only "Apache, HO bo HO!" (that's a stanza of our company cheer by the way, and Norman keeps looking at me when it comes to that phrase)... ok la... Platoon Sergeant Khairu starts calling me that too... "Benjamin Ho, HO???" (well, in case you are blur, "HO" means "good" in hokkien/teochew) ah... nevermind then... shall just be satisfied with whatever they give me, i'll try my best in SIT test and shall see how bahz... it's quite a competitive world in tekong...
