today fellowship celebrates SISTERS' WEEK!!! and i can't go (again) thanks to booking in at 1845 for Pulau Tekong... but i'm not sad this time... because it's the 2nd last book in EVER!!! well, at least to Pulau Tekong as a recruit... but nonetheless, HAPPY SISTERS' WEEK... to all, i wish you all the best in everything that you do... take care and god bless!!!

aloysius and yee ler both did super well... and i did badly in comparison... argh... but i'm happy nonetheless... i don't wanna compare with them... for me, i think i have done much more meaningful stuff... like going overseas for CIP trips and doing community service here... ok, self comforting huh... lolx... ok, we fight different battles...

for service today, we had a new pastor (Rev. Shen Hong Li) who was previously our fellowship "dao-shi" but went on to take up theology and became a pastor... what he shared was very motivating because it tells us not to despise the poor and the weak (status) in our society just as our Lord did not despise them. The scripture reading was from Luke 15:1-7... there, it was mentioned that Jesus was gathering around the "sinners" and the "righteous" got angry about that... there Jesus gave the parable about the shepherd who has a hundred sheep, but lost one sheep and hence leaves the 99 in search for that one lost sheep... and when he has finally found it, rejoices over that lost sheep... Jesus relates it to heaven (and angels) when one person repents (or becomes a believer), there is more celebration than for 99 (representing ALOT) christians living "righteous" lives... the point is that, there is much for the other 99 christians to do... such as to look for, and bring back that lost person... rather than to simply be known as a christian but basically NATO (no action, talk only)...
