today is another slack day...

basically we sat in the hall from 9am to 5pm... only coming out for ten-minute breaks and 90-minute lunch break... in there, we had a lecture on "prevalent offenses" by this weird warrant officer who rattled on and on and on about chapter (smth) section (smth) of whatever act in the whatever military law... and he expects us to remember the "smth" or the number / alphabets... alamak la...

so throughout the lesson, i was practicing my skills of staying awake (trust me, such skills has DEPLETED A LOT since graduating from CJC)... but halfway through, i decided i practiced enough... so i went to sleep... wahahaha!!! and at the small quiz session at the end of the lecture, i knew nuts about military law... gRRR... do i look like military police who needs to know about the law?? aiya, just don't run out of camp, listen to those whose rank is higher than you, and you'll be safe la...

then after that, we have the slightly more interesting "series of lectures on leadership"... it's on smth called LCM (i used to think it's lowest common multiple, but they call it something else - which i conveniently forgot... it's something something model... if i'm nt wrong, it's leadership competency model... but then again, i tend to be wrong when i don't pay attention in class)... LOL!!! what an honest student i am... hehehe...

but i did bring home some stuff from the series of lectures... well, at least now i know how i can get people to work for me... using the carrot and stick method - give rewards; if rewards don't work, give punishments... or i can apply behaviorism - give rewards... (behaviorism and 'carrot and stick' is almost the same, except that behaviorism doesn't have the 'stick' component)... lol...

and we were taught to build good rapport with the drivers under us... give them "welfare" so that when we are in need, they will help us... and not only with drivers, but fellow logistics personnel as well.. so when our company needs say a hundred trucks and i only have 30, i can "borrow" from my fellow transport supervisors... interesting huh... ok la... all these are common sense, but i wouldn't have realised if it hasn't been brought up...

hmmz... well, i guess these are the most important lessons learnt today... ahhaha... yep, it's nothing much... cos most of the time, it's breaks... hahaha... and the support wing OC said that we'll not be physically drained, but mentally drained... gRRR... really reminds me of junior college life lo...

and adding on to that, i actually take 966 everyday... sooooo... that means i'll pass by CJC everyday... like 2dae for example, i saw soooooo many CJC-ians at the bus stop... i was nearly overwhelmed with emotions la... all my good friends, and all the great memories that i had... ah... i want to go back to CJ one day manz... one day... maybe when i gt nth to do when i am posted to camp...

ah... and talking about camp... my transport supervisor course schedule is out... and if not wrong, we'll be done with the course in 4 months (16 - 18 weeks) starting from this coming monday... which means i MIGHT be able to skip all the nonsense of participating in the NDP... hahaha!!! because i'm in the logistics sector of the army... and that will be horrible when it comes to NDP... can anyone imagine an order from the HQ? trucks would be ordered in terms of hundreds la... gRRR... hope hope hope...

hmmz... shall go sleep soon then... get enough rest so i won't sleep in the long long long long lecture tomorrow... hehehe...
