god is good, really...
first, he blessed me with results that i myself am proud of for A levels... then he blessed me with a super relaxed stay in tekong with the food very much satisfiable to my taste buds... now he gave me one of the most coveted vocations in the army, Transport Supervisor... aka 3SG Driver...
hmmz... haven't heard of this vocation much before NS and even during the initial periods of NS... i first heard of it during one of the IFC (individual field craft) training in BMT... when the then 2LT Koh Sze Kiat compared with us the pros and cons of taking up a slack job and a "qiong-sua" job... he said many people want to be driver because it's slack... you see them drive the tonner about, then sleep and wait for people to finish training den u just fetch them back... but he said that it'll be a boring job, and he would rather not waste this 2 years in army just learning to drive, but to learn new stuff like weapons, etc... but mixed in between that, he said that drivers are not that good either, there is a better position called transport supervisor whose job is simply to do driver detailing aka plan which driver drive which tonner for the day... then his job is done for the day... then i had no interest in it, so this just sat in some corner of my mind, till now when i actually got it... then like... "oh, didn't SK say this some time ago???"... then the bits and pieces form back... then "ahhhhh"... then "wowwwww...."
but i really do hope it'll be like that... well, it's slack, but i can take the chance to "upgrade" myself... when the posting for the university comes out, if i'm accepted into FOS NUS, then i'll just start studying physics all over again... and of course maths too... my stupid "C"... and if not, i have no plans for that yet... lol... so in the meantime, i'll relax and enjoy myself... in fact, my dad recommended me to buy a PSP... but some of my older friends who are in army say that most camps do not allow PSP and some do not even allow MP3 players (like iPod - tekong just prohibits the cables connecting them to the coms - some camps ban them altogether...)
