today's 966 bus driver is CRAZY... usually, the route from marine parade to woodlands took around an hour... that is for the 966 bus at arrives at 5:48am every morning at the bus stop just after Marine Parade Community Club (the one that i take from every morning)... today, that same route took a mere 40 minutes... maybe less... it went soooooooo fast, that i actually woke up from my sleep at woodlands terminal still feeling a bit tired... LOL!!!

and as a result, i reached sembawang camp before 7am... the reporting time is 7:45... i usually reach at 7:25am to 7:35am... LOL...

first thing we reach camp, we were shown to our bunks that we'll be staying in from monday onwards... and thankfully, it wasn't as bad as we heard it was... i slept on the corner bed, facing the sea... yepx... my bunk has sea view!!! altho the sea i could see is heavily littered with large ships... over the next two months, i shall carry out my spying work on these ships, when i'm too free... lol...

then we had this Major talk to us about 3G army... pretty interesting talk, because it involves a shift in how the SAF operates... from a "i say you do" to "please ask why" mentality... such that we are actually encouraged to find out the rationale for doing everything, and questioning the basis of every instruction given... hmmmz... 3G army is soooo cool... BUT BUT BUT... as i pondered further, it's not good... because while we are encouraged to ask why, 6 months later, we'll have drivers asking us WHY too... i can already imagine the drivers under my charge tell me "but why must clean tonner? got car wash rite?"... gRRR...

after that we carried on yesterday's "problem based learning" discussion... today is much much much more boring because we already done 90% of the work already... and we completed it before lunch... so after lunch, we basically sat around, talking nonsense all day long... ah... like i told my dad, "you guys pay income tax for me to sit in aircon room, to sleep, and to eat"... haha... but there was another motive for it la... i think the PBL nonsense is just an excuse to get our group to work together... well, if you think about it, we nearly spent 20 hours discussing on that one simple issue... so we naturally have lots of time, so we'll talk nonsense and chat... and we won't feel too stupid about it because we're "cheating the system" by talking, but actually this is what they wanted us to do... think about a 20-hour "ice-breaker" session... we'll yawn at that thought la.. but they actually got us to do it, without consciously knowing it... till now... hehehe...
