after church, i went for pool at cineleisure, with xueying... haha.. and the games we played goes far to show that i haven't played that game for a long long long long time... i really can't elaborate any further about how many balls i missed, and on top of that majority of them are straight ones... and the ones i go in, are those luck shots that bounce off the corners of the table several times before pocketing into a hole which i never intended it to go into... it's been a long long time manz...

but well, it was fun... a game with one of my brother-in-christ... one whom i have not have the chance to go out for a long time with ever since secondary school, when we split into my busy JC life and his hectic polytechnic life... and most amusingly, i found the time to go out, only in army... when it's supposedly the busiest time of a man's life before going out to work... LOL... what an irony...

then i walked all the way back to plaza singapura carrefour to buy food / snacks to bring into camp tomorrow... hahaha... and once again, i'm tempted by all the nice food around... so guess what, i spent more than 40 bucks on food and snacks!!! and on top of that, i finished a 1.89 litre bottle of orange juice on my way back home!!! the last time i did that was back in junior college if i'm not wrong, if not earlier... argh... i'm getting fat again... and i really don't like it... oh and on top of that, i bought a family-sized pack of satay broadbeans (my personal favourite!!!), and also swallowed it down... on the back of the packet of broadbeans, wrote "number of servings: 12"... and on the nutritional information on the carton of orange juice "serves 8"... oh my goodnessssss...

maybe i should return to BMT for a while longer... to at least let me get used to being "acceptable weight" for a while longer... being a transport supervisor is really doing me no good physically... i just spoke to aloysius who was posted to SISPEC and he told me of harrowing stories of horrible training in SISPEC... and also that the morale there is quite low because basically everyone aims to be "out of course" or to be transferred to a slacker unit... and what's more, the new recruits who entered in march / april are getting $450 a month!!! and we're only geting $350 a month!!! so much for being in "service" earlier... but i don't mind... if i get enlisted a month later, i would probably not be getting my current vocation...

and haha... i'm starting my driving lesson tomorrow!!! ok la... the theory part only... but i'm really looking forward to it... in 8 weeks learn 3 vehicles... it's gonna be tough, but driving is a skill i have to learn... and the army is paying me to learn what others need to pay to learn... why not??? haha... wish me luck manz... so that i may be able to pass the driving test the first time round... altho i have absolutely no confidence in it... and i really can't imagine myself driving... but i'll try.. hahaha...
