went to marine parade library today... hehehe... trying out the sort-of-new Wireless @ SG... and surprisingly, it's faster than my home internet!!! lolx... pretty surprising because i was expecting speeds like dailup or slower, and maybe even not being able to connect... but it was super fast and connection was stable... compared with macdonald's internet which i tried time time ago, it's a whole lot faster and better... or maybe because there are relatively fewer people using the internet at marine parade library bahz... was reading some online forums and people were complaining about how the internet at other libraries and other hotspots were terrible...

the reason behind that was that i just cancelled my $42-dollars-a-month internet suscription as of yesterday because i so rarely use it now that i'm in camp all day long.. and only free on weekends... but i hope to be able to suscribe to the Starhub 100Mbps one when i "graduate" form driving course and start to stay out... so i can watch movies and download more stuff... when i had my 512k internet i often wished to be able to stream videos and download movies to watch, but the internet simply lagged so much that it was a chore to watch movies... hopefully at 100Mbps it'll be fast enough... but i know it's gonna cost hell lot.. $121.80 per month... hmmmz... but for the loads of stuff i can get at that speed, it's probably worth it.. so for now, i have to make use of the internet at the library first lo... wahahaha... and once again, the library became my favourite hangout... LOL!!! reminds me of the O levels period when i went to the library every evening at around 6+pm till it closes at 9pm... just to study... in JC, there was night study so i stayed in school till 10pm and didn't get to visit marine parade library much... now i'm back again liaoz... but not to study, but for the internet... lolx..

so while i'm at the library, i've borrowed some copies of scientific american magazines.. wahahaha... because i really really really need to sharpen my mind... it's getting less and less sharp, compared to about half a year back when i could carry out a small debate with rosel... now i have trouble understanding the notion about free will once again... it's really amazing how fast the brain deteriorates when not in use, and hauntingly much too.. hopefully, reading scientific american might help to maintain my current brain state...
