i'm back on friday night because i got to stay out... and stay out in army terminologies means that we get to go home everyday and only need to return to camp the next day... or in even more layman terms, 8am to 5pm job daily... and why so? because i passed my class 4 driving test!!! wahahahaha!!!

speaking of it, i am really blessed for the driving test... all of my friends whom i told my story to, did not believe in the immense magnitude and absolute improbability of such luck... well, firstly, i moved off the tonner in 3rd gear... i vividly recall him telling me "you sure you're at gear 1?"... then i changed gear and realised that was gear 3 and i changed back to gear 1... "see, what gear were you at just now?"... "errrrrr...." (at that point, my mood took a great swing to the south...) well, for those who drive, that means IMMEDIATE FAILURE... but, my tester simply told me "never mind, carry on"... then, when i turned out to kaki bukit area, i stopped nicely at one traffic light... and because it was a single lane, and i was the first vehicle there, and that the tonner is too high for the sensor to pick up, the traffic light simply didn't!!! so i spent about 15 minutes waiting for the traffic light to change... and it only did when a motorcycle came by and activated the sensor by it's presence.. so, 15 minutes wasted by simply waiting at a traffic light... then, when we moved off, we're supposed to turn into the comfort driving centre and the kaki bukit industrial area for the test... but my assessor didn't... he simply told me to go straight and made simple left and right turns before telling me to return to camp... then back inside, he told me to park at any lot i like... and that meant alot because usually testers choose what lot for us to park, yet i get to choose one which i like... and i got the order to "disobey traffic rules" and to cut across the lane to get to whatever parking lot i choose... and so, it was done... 45 minutes, 6km drive... and pretty much an enjoyable drive, minus the fact that all along i thought i failed the test thanks to moving off at gear 3... at the end he even told me, "your driving is ok, i deducted 6 points all from your mirror checking because there is ONE time you didn't check your mirror when you turned"... that's all, i got a pass just like that... thank god manz... for giving me a pass, and thus STAY OUT... wahahaha...
