went back to CJ to collect my School Graduation Certificate today... being me, i went early... at 10:30am... so, i waited for WeiYu and YingLi till around 11:30am... wahahaha... ok la, in the meantime i went around to talk to people... like Mr. Thomas Ho, and the librarian... hahaha... it's really fond memories because it's the librarian who kept me company while i'm studying... most of the time, i'll be there when she opens the door, and i'll always be the "first customer" when i go to school... wahahaha... fond memories indeed...

then Rosel's KI ended... and we met, briefly... then Emily... was trying to spot MinJia, but i ended up spotting Ircahn, BingXing and Dinah's George... hmmz... then WeiYu and YingLi came... we then went into the office (in the process meeting Dinah and George... what a great coincidence manz...), andTanJekSuan gave me that super huge stare (just like when i was in CJ)... "you lost alot of weight!"... wahahaha... well, to me, it's an achievement... and i wish to keep it there, forever... hehe... and soon, we were given our School Graduation Certificates... actually, it's a brown folder... inside were our official GCE A Level Certificate, and 8 pages of the SGC consisting of a cover page, results page, CCA Testimonial Page, and Academic Testimonial Page... that's actually 4 pages... but they counted double sides... so it's 8, but actually it's 4 printed pages... lolx... other than the rather grandeur presentation, the contents were similar to that in the blue file we got during graduation the year before... lolx...

then we went to have pizza at Novena Square.. tried the sort-of-new super thin pizza... and it's chix and shrooms... and yep, weiyu can bear testimonial to the very fact that i ate mushrooms!!! wahahaha... and rosel can't grunt anymore... lolx... but ya la, like i said, i only eat mushrooms from pizzas... because it comes with great seasoning that masks it's smell and makes it taste and feel like tender chicken (almost)... actually, we wanted to have deserts... but, due to lack of time and suitable deserts, we abandoned that idea... and YingLi went off to meet her friend, while i went to bugis together with WeiYu... there she went to work and i went to the library...

after a while, i left the library and went around bugis street looking for clothes... and went into OG and found a nice offer for Giordano Polo Tees... 3 for $39... so after trying them out, i bought them and happy went off, with my purchase... and headed off for sim lim square... lolx... i actually didn't want to go there because there is really nothing much to buy... but well, no harm... and as it really turns out, that place no longer has it's appeal as much as it had a year or so ago... guess i'm retired to my fate of having an average computer instead of maintaining a state-of-the-art computer at home... after all, i don't play computer games nowadays anymore... thanks initially to the A levels exams, and now to national service... lolx... and also because it's really a waste of time and effort... then i went back to Parkway Parade... to do some window shopping and also for dinner...

and as i came back home, i recalled an earlier conversation... about universities... it's a very sad topic i guess... because this week (wednesday if i'm not wrong), many people got their university rejection letter from NTU and SMU (not sure about NUS)... for all of them, they are suddenly slammed in the face with this notice... many of them have been holding on tightly to the fact that they hasn't been rejected... and now, the truth surfaces to haunt them... out of sudden... of reality... i know, no matter what i say, i can't change the truth and the facts... but really, it's a reminder that all of my dearest friends are still young and have a great future ahead of them... particularly JC students... we are already the cream of the crop; the top 15 to 20 percent of the nation's youths... do not give up when you don't get into the university course that you so dream to get into... like i told my friends, a university degree is all just a stepping stone for us to get into society... when we completed the course, we graduate as bachelors of science, bachelors of arts, or some others... it seperates us from being labelled "A Level holders"... and gives us an added advantage when it comes to getting into a job... so well, if first choice didn't get through, go for the next best one... as long as you get into a university, you'll be just fine...

i really pray and hope that all of my friends get into the course they so desire... but if not, i pray for god's grace and guidance to be upon them... to bring peace into their hearts and minds so that they can be able to put aside all their emotions and to really settle down to really think about what's best for them... there really isn't much time left, so dear friends, make do with the remaining time you guys have, and make the best decision with help from whichever god you all believe in...
