today was relatively fun... we had some discussion on the iraq war thing, and then went for lecture by this officer for the next half of the day... till about 3pm... i can only say that the officer who conducted the lecture was ultimately humourous, although i have no idea whether he knows about it or not... why??? because he's super duper blur!!! ok, as transport supervisors were taught about a formula called "time pass point", used to calculate how long a whole convoy takes to pass by a particular point.. and in it was a number used to represent the "vehicle density"... and he took the word literally.. "vehicle density is the pressure exerted on the road. it depends on the type of vehicle used. if you use a 5 ton, then it's denser than a 3 ton."... and i was like -.-"""!!!!! if i could i would have shouted out at him "sir, vehicle density is the number of vehicles along a stretch of road spanning 1km"...

this goes extremely far to show one thing - our army lecturers CAN'T lecture... one, he doesn't know what he is talking about; two, he came unprepared; three, he came unequipped with proper teaching skills... why that? because HE JUST READS OUT WHAT'S ON THE SLIDES!!! i can do it better than he did!!! even in secondary schools they teach that when you are presenting a slide, elaborate it and not just read off it... and i tell you, he is freaking monotone la!!! on top of that, he's an officer!!! how on earth does he want us to respect him, when he can't present a simple slide to us!!! i can read it on my own and probably learn more and in a shorter time!!! oh and did i mention he just skips slides that he feels and personally deems as unimportant??? haha... sorry la... i was cooking inside the lecture room because he is such a lousy presenter and i couldn't help but complain and complain and complain... lol...

then after that, we went back to our syndicate rooms and finished up our discussion on the iraq war project and got ready to present to our instructor... and after that, we were dismissed... thankfully, we got dismissed before the instructors changed their minds... eventually they called everyone back for debrief... but by then, we "left" already... actually, i was in the toilet then... but i sneaked into the staircase and into the canteen... and from there, out of camp.. ahhaha... so i was like dismissed an hour before the rest of them got dismissed.. hahaha... really, coming into army logistics, i've really learnt alot.. and one of it, is not to fight too hard... just relax...

but sometimes, it's this sit-back-and-relax attitude that makes the army logistics sooooo inefficient... it's like natural to just relax, but it takes effort to be doing what we're supposed to do... so naturally people would just relax... and get fat... like what's happening to me now... ah!!!
