In my entire NS life so far, I haven't been lacking in exposure to really high profile events. And today adds on to one more of that on my list, in fact, i'll have to put today the first on that list. It's the National Day Awards Investiture and i'm guessing that this will be the highest-level event that i'll ever attend in my entire NS life. People who are present included the minister of defence, the second minister of defence, the chief of defence force (the only person in singapore with three stars on his shoulder whom i kinda dreamed of meeting him one day), the mindef sergeant major (whom i've never even HEARD of), etc. Well, i finally get to see the chief of defence force, and talk to him for a very very short while "Sir, can you please face the camera for a moment?"... And also the minister of defence, also saying the same thing... I used to think that people with bars are big shots, then i came to HQ TPT and find that people with bars on their shoulders are actually really really powerless... then i meet people with multiple crabs on their shoulders... and today, i meet people with stars on their shoulders... i'm pretty sure there's nothing beyond stars, so here i am at the peak of my NS career... Being the video-grapher for this event is really great, because it's really a very very big eye opener for me... to see how they plan events like that, and down to the actual execution... and seeing how the big shots act in events like this... i'm fully prepared to be the next chief of defence force already!!! hahaha... nah, no way i'll get stuck in this career...
