ok, update update... haha... i've completed another upgrade to my media player... now it filters out users who use internet explorer and the option simply doesn't show up to them... only mozilla firefox users will get to the the advanced prompt... users of other browsers would simply see ONE prompt: do you want background music? wahahaha...
i actually counted the number of steps that my entire script sequence does... and well, here it is... firstly, when a person enters this website, they choose whether they want music or not... if it's a no, they go straight to the blog.. if it's a yes, the system detects whether they are using firefox... if it's a no, they go straight to the blog with the random music.. if it's a yes, they see another prompt as to whether they would like the current song or that they prefer to listen to some other song of their own preference.. if they are ok with the current song, they get directed to the blog... if they prefer to choose their own song, they get to see a third prompt for them to manually input the song's representative numerical value.. and they finally get directed to the blog, with their choices effected...
i know that i'm really a terrible businessman... i've just revealed the workings of my media player to everyone.. but i really don't care since i don't intend to profit from it... and it's really easy to configure now since i've tidied up nearly everything... in fact, the owner of the blog really just needs to make 3 changes to the script to add or remove songs from the list... but to change the functions would be quite tedious... there are more than 10 functions to this one script sequence... wahahaha...
