today was orientation driving to jurong island and the nearby petrol stations.. and i must say that the place is very very scary, because cargo trailers are a common-thing, and once in a while we'll see an eighteen-wheeler zooming past.. and we are driving a small isuzu pickup..

but it's not that bad, because the isuzu pickup baosts of a 3-litre turbo diesel engine.. for an engine like that, it could easily move a load of about 2 tonnes, and it will be used to carry 5 people, max.. so for me, i made it a point to be the first vehicle to move off (and of course to rev and change gear super quickly); so that i will be in front of the bulk of lorries and cargo trailers, before the 50kmph military speed limit kicks in.. cheap thrill, but a thrill nonetheless.. wahahaha...

and i just got news that my first duty in jurong island would be on saturday from 8pm till sunday 8am.. so that means i have to be in jurong island by 3pm.. and that also means i have to kiss goodbye to my weekends.. gRRR.. never mind, it's all worthed it..
