i went to watch Sex and the City.. better still, i watched it with my fellowship friends.. and even better still, we took the couple seats and i watched it with weiting beside me.. really really really weird..

firstly because i really didn't want to watch the show from the start cos of the title (which i later found to be rather irrelevant to movie itself).. then i watched it with my church fellowship friends (like erm a group of God-Believers / followers watching SEX and the City).. then we took couple seats and so it was sooooo wrong wrong wrong.. but it's partly my fault too, because they wanted to watch made of honour (probably after i told them that it was nice) and i've already watched it with rosel..

but i'm reassured.. because the movie really isn't M18 at all, because the movie's about relationships and not nudity and sex scenes.. and even the sex scenes are appropriately covered.. but it's bad in general because it showcases the unimportance of marriage throughout the show (until the very end when Mr Big [Chris Noth] eventually did it the traditional way).. and yes, it's definitely romantic (explains why i said it was so wrong that we got the couple seats)..

perhaps it may deserve the M18 rating because it places so much emphasis on instant wants, on worldly desires, on fashion, on short-term relationships and absolute no to marriage.. anybody who is not 18 might get misleaded, and soon singapore will face a terrible population crisis.. or rather, we'll see a drastic rise in premarital sex.. neither of which are good..

then we went to the old supreme court and talked and talked and talked.. it was really nice because we talked about the old times back in church when things were so similar and yet so different.. aiya, it's hard to pen down.. just nice.. i love the people in fellowship, they are really the people i've grew up with and spent a quarter of my lifetime with.. haha..
