i spent 08:08PM, 08/08/08 in camp..

but it wasn't too bad cos i got to watch the Opening Ceremony of the Beijing Olympics; in full screen (i was using the Ops Room Projector, together with many interested people who were stuck in camp)..

i must say that they really leveraged on their people power to make everything to their advantage.. and they certainly have not been the least bit thrifty on it.. last i heard, they spent $60 billion on it.. i'm not sure whether it's US$ or RMB or SGD, but even if it's Rupiah, it's still a lot (and perhaps more than what we spend for NDP??)..
