i thank God for friends..

friends who are smart and super duper intelligent and will brighten up not only my day, but will also light up the neurons in my brain.. these are the really fun group of people to be with..

friends who are super duper irritating.. they will dampen my day, but they remind me that i am such a person in the eyes of others; and that i'm probably worse off in the eyes of the Lord.. these friends teach me life skills of patience and love..

friends who are really casual.. we say hi, we say bye.. in between those two words, we throw in some rubbish that would not matter whether we actually said it or not.. but it's good to have them around because without them, life would have too much ups and downs and would be so unpredictable..

friends who are really close.. they point out my mistakes without fear of making me angry.. they tell me things that they know, concerns them and concerns me.. they are like a mirror in my life, except that this mirror is never stationary and is never silent.. they teach me most of the things that i need to learn..

but i thank god that he kept a decent proportion of the different groups of friends around that keeps me sane..
