hmmz.. finally had time to blog about yesterday's event... you may refer to Rosel's Blog for information from her point of view...

for me, i went to Suntec city, at 9am... to check out the places so as to get the stuff ready on time... (the kiasu ben, as always)... and it was really weird cos i've never been to suntec before lunch time... anyway, i alighted the bus with this really large group of people working at suntec city, so i followed them all the way into Suntec city, pretending all the while that i work at Suntec... would be rather weird if i am a shopper intending to shop at Suntec at 9am...

I got things done faster than expected.. by 9:30am i had located all the shops and ate my "lunch" at 10am... at the Congress kopitiam at the Convention Centre... Nasi Lemak... then i went up to the 3rd level (where the great motorshow was concluded the day before)... and saw people taking off the stuff... then i went over to another place to see them setting up the room for EMC2, some exhibition on information and communications technology... very interesting time cos i saw them setting up the speakers, the booths, the lightings... all done with lightning speed...

then YanYi called.. at 10:30+am... so i went to meet her... then went to Angie to buy cakes for Qiu's b'dae celebration on Wednesday... but... they did not have the powerpuff girls design... then we went to Polar and THANKFULLY they had the powerpuff designs... so we just ordered lo...

after that, we went to Carrefour to slack... then we noticed the "Magic Candles"... you know, those inextinguishable candles... and the evil part of benji got into work... muahahaha... yanyi was a little paranoid at first... "what if weiyu gets angry?"... i assured her that weiyu can never get angry de... haha... so we bought the entire pack of 10...

just as we were at the Cashier, Qiu came... then we went to shop for WeiYu's cake... haha... great old yanyi managed to bring her round and round and round... and "Oh!!! there's a polar cakes here... wanna get weiyu's cake from polar???" (remember we brought Qiu's cake at Polar Cakes barely an hour ago)... and so we settled WeiYu's cake...

Then we went around Suntec, actually i think we walked to and fro Suntec twice... we wanted to buy a watch for WeiYu but couldn't decide... WeiYu loves pooh, but v little pooh designs... then we went into carrefour and actually found a pooh watch there!!! carrefour again...

by the time we settled that, it was 1pm liao... so we went to Subway to pack Qiu's lunch to KFC where YanYi and I had our lunch... just when we were about to finish, WeiYu came... so well... we just slack around and chatted...

and Trey called WeiYu... i didn't hear what Trey told WeiYu, but this is Rosel's account of the conversation:
Trey: Hello? Hello Weiyu ah?
Weiyu: Hello?
Trey: Where are you? How come you never tell me where you are?
Weiyu: Who are you?
Trey: How can you not know who am I? I am your BOY-FRIEND!
(Rosel claimed that we'll get the drift, i actually don't)...

Meanwhile, YanYi was talking to Joleen (WeiYu's godsis)... but we did not want WeiYu to know, so she did this:
YanYi: Hello, Xue Cong ah? What time you coming???
YanYi: Oh, we all here liao.. waiting for you lo... you coming here to tell WeiYu your something right???
YanYi: okok, faster ok, dun let your WeiYu wait...
(i can't hear what Joleen's response was, but well, the important part is YanYi's one)

You should have seen WeiYu's face... hahahaha... Hence, from KFC, she complained and complained and complained and complained to CityLink, to Funan, back to CityLink and back to Suntec... poor girl... but our intentions were to make her as sad/angry as possible so she would get the biggest shock...

When we returned to Suntec, YanYi and Qiu left to collect the cake, while me and WeiYu went to Macdonald's... i dropped her there and claimed to go to toilet, but i met up with YanYi to get the magic candles in place, etc... We also arranged for Joleen to meet us outside Macs..

YanYi went into Macs with a cake and 1 normal candle, and 8 magic candles... heeeeeee.... After making a wish, WeiYu started blowing, and blowing and blowing... and blowing, and blowing... so much so that there was plenty of smoke coming out from the candles... so we decided to stop the pun and removed the candles and dropped them into water (the instructions told us that)...

We had a some talk, etc then YanYi and I left with the rubbish and Rosel and Trey came... I didn't even know that they called WeiYu... haha... We had a small talk, then I passed WeiYu the envelope for Rosel who cheekily shouted out that it was a love letter... but eventually that "love letter" went back to herself.. hehehe... nice one rosel... you're my valentine...

then we left, with WeiYu and Joleen going to KFC for dinner, while Rosel, Trey and I headed to Carrefour... I went in there to buy a whole carton of Florida's Natural Orange Juice, while Rosel and Trey left...

and I actually finished the whole carton on my way back home... hmmz... that took around 2 hours... cos i missed one bus, and the second bus that came was so packed that the driver refused to open the door... and the third one (which i was in) got stuck in a horrible traffic jam... so yar... i reached home at 8+... and we said bye to weiyu at 6pm? lol... the "great" transportation system of Singapore...

I came home and watched the Sum of All Fears (recorded from Ch. 5 yesterday, but got interrupted cos of discussions with YanYi over WeiYu's b'dae celebrations)... at the end of it, i begin chatting with Alicia... who asked if she still can sign up for Chiang Mai OCIP... but the training was over already... so... i told her to go for Khao Lak June 2007...

Then was talking to Rosel... discussing about our outing with MinJia and Trey this friday... The red lobster (Min Jia), didn't want to get redder... and well... so after some time, we concluded that we'll be going to "explore" sentosa... by foot or by other means...

1am... this was the best time of my day... i guess... hmmz... i shall not delay.. here's the stuff:

erm... Genie Low was a fictitious character we created... ShuTing was the person in charge of the upcoming Lucify concert on 25th November... Why? Because Rosel wants to go and doesn't want to pay for the tickets... so i suggested asking the person in charge... to see whether there is free tickets.. but apparently there aren't... but we had a great laugh, disturbing them and seeing how far people will go to "treat their fans nicely"... we were secretly hoping that ShuTing doesn't know someone called Jeremy, or he'll have his head chopped off... but even though, there are many people called jeremy right? (self-assurance)...
