"Houston, we have a problem"...
Apparently i find it too boring to make videos with my computer now!!! i'm so used to working with a CPU that's 3metres tall and 1 metres wide, with 3 screens and a colour-coded keyboard; that i find using my own computer a bore!!! i'm used to having a program load in one second with zero lags, and now i find that 2 second opening time a big fuss... what's the problem with me???
i'm supposed to make the T31 class chalet videos for the chalet, but now, i'm looking through the photos, and looking back at how i have done videos before, and i find that they all SUCKED!!! ohmygoodness... i really don't know what to do... if only i had that supercomputer, coupled with the Adobe Premier Pro software loaded in, i would have loved making videos la!!! gRRRR...
i've rendered about 5 opening animations and screens, and yet none of them satisfies my basic standard... because now, i find Ulead VideoStudio extremely basic... to think that it's classified as a semi-professional production software when i used it... now, windows movie maker is pushed out of the scale wayyyy down south... and i hate the lag...
but i really really love and wish that i can afford such a system as theirs, even if i'm not doing video production... but what to do, this system of theirs cost about a million dollars altogether... and they juz brought in a few $1.5 million-dollar system for this purpose today... but it's worthed it... we rendered a 10 minute video in about 3 minutes, and it's DV PAL quality... meaning it's even higher quality than HD TV, it has a data rate of about 30Mbits/second... compare that to the DVD standard of 2Mbits/second... you get what i mean...
i really thank god for this course... plus being through this course gives me authority to use this system of theirs when i need it... and the eleven of us are the first batch of trainees that are authorised to use their super-pro video camera, and their video processing system... and now, after this course, i really feel like doing mass comm already... getting all the video footage from the best scenes, and adding in the special effects to make my video look impressive... lolx...
