"A Chain is as strong as it's weakest link"

This is one of the few things mentioned in sermon today in church.. The pastor mentioned that while the successful pin their eyes on the items that reaps them the greatest profits and advantages, our greatest strength, in all it's nakedness, is still limited by our weakest link.. We all may be successful in work, school, or whatever; but while these things might bring us glory and pride, we must not neglect the poor friendships, the jealousy, the lust, the hatred that may be hidden inside us.. often these things are so well camouflaged within us, that we ourselves might not notice them at all.. that's why we need trusty friends who has been with us for a long enough period to point out the weakest link in all of us.. so that in a day of trials and temptation, we may not fail just because of that weakest link that has gave us away.. although there will always be the weakest link, let not the weakest link be far weaker than our strongest link..
