was watching this show called "暖春" with my parents this afternoon.. it's a show about this chinese 8-year-old girl who ran away from home because her parents ill-treated her.. halfway through, she fainted.. and some guy from another village picked her up.. sadly, the village is not doing very well, so nobody wanted to adopt her.. eventually an elderly old man (the grandfather) adopted her into his house.. but in the process of growing up, the mother of the house also ill-treated her.. the girl only had the grandfather to rely on.. but she worked hard and learnt fast.. things changed when she did the "mother" a very big favour, and changed her attitude towards the little girl.. and by that action from the little girl, the whole family turns from one filled with bitterness and sorrow to one that is filled with hope and success..
