it's been ages since i had 3 posts in a day.. but ohwell, i was at home today and really having nothing to do and not wishing to spend the day outside.. sometimes it's just nice to slack around at home.. and today is one of those days..
was reading through my older blog posts and realised that it's really been a long long while.. well, i was reading about how rosel and i was mentioning about "fate".. and whether fate was actually scientific or not.. and now to think about it, "fate" is really a very interesting word and if it were to come from man, it'll be a very interesting "work" of that man indeed..
not to think whether "fate" is scientific or not, but to think about the effects of the introduction of this word called "fate".. well, for starters, this word dissipates all responsibility from a person.. by using "fate", one can disown one's doings and actions and blames it all one "fate".. that's the negative side of it.. but it's also one which pulls in-a-sense, more responsibility when used in "it's fate that brought us together".. so "fate" is used to refer to things that are out of our control, and perhaps things and events that we do not want to own up that we have a hand in..
and to think of it, fate (although referring to a series of events sequenced or ordered by time), it somehow is outside time.. because we can not put a definitely start or end to "fate".. so it's an irony because fate is perceived as a event sequence according to time, but yet it is not limited by time.. so it must somehow be godly or supernatural.. no wonder the plethora of people claiming to be able to "read" and "explain" fate..
then the question to ask is (what rosel has been asking since the moment i knew her), does it exist? i.e., does fate exist? or is fate just a matter of human perception or human creation.. perhaps as a means to throw away our responsibility for our actions? or perhaps to sweeten the deal to get ourselves a mate? or perhaps to make our earthly and human relationships seem godly and supernatural so that we can gain whatever amount of advantage that it can give us.. perhaps fate is just a lie and things just coincidentally happen all the time? but if that's the case, then many people are going to be jobless; and many people (knowing that fate is a lie) loses their aim in life..
or perhaps it's their "fate" to know that "fate" is a lie after all..
what an irony in life!!
